Upcoming Cohorts
We are taking the month off during July. Our upcoming cohorts will start in mid-August. The topics this time around are:
Yoga for People Herniated Discs: yoga is possible for people with herniated discs, but care is necessary. Several yoga poses will actively relieve back pain, but there are several yoga poses than need to modified for back safety. This nine-week class will work through several yoga modalities and prepare clients to safely participate in yoga classes.
Yoga for Neurodivergent Adults: We will running a second cohort for people interested in relieving chronic pain symptoms that are common with neurodivergence.

🧘 Yoga Therapy Series for Neurodivergent Adults 🧘
Are you seeking relief from chronic pain associated with neurodivergence? Join our 8-week yoga therapy series at Little Bird Yoga Studio!
📅 Dates: Mondays, starting May 6th
🕒 Time: 6:30-7:30 PM
📍 Location: Little Bird Yoga Studio, 1615 Central Ave, Room 206, Los Alamos, NM
In this series, led by experienced yoga instructor Heather Quinn, we will focus on addressing chronic pain prevalent in neurodivergent individuals. Whether you're diagnosed or self-identified, this class is tailored to your needs.
Research suggests that adults with ADHD often experience motor regulation issues leading to chronic pain. Our sessions will tackle this through:
1. Core Muscle Development
2. Muscle Stretching
3. Mindfulness Practices
4. Stress Release Techniques
Participants will undergo a physical assessment before and after the series as part of the yoga therapy process.
💵 Cost: $180 for the entire series
